Pui Yan Liu

Student Researcher

Pui Yan is enrolled in the Office Administration – Health Services program at Centennial College. In her role as a student researcher, she is responsible for assisting the WIMTACH research team with the GIaNT Youth Project that centers on transgender, non-binary, intersex, and/or gender-independent/diverse/questioning youth and their puberty health and sex education needs. From her internship at WIMTACH and studies at Centennial College, she has acquired technical skills such as medical transcription and Microsoft Access. She is also learning how to be a responsible global citizen and an inclusive leader while polishing her communication skills. In her free time, she enjoys learning foreign languages such as Spanish, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Latin, Classical Greek, and Classical Hebrew at the university level.
