Aesha is a Student Researcher at WIMTACH and she is enrolled in the Software Engineering Technology program at Centennial College. At WIMTACH she assists the mechanical research team with the development of an Android Application in MVVM architecture. As well, she acquires business requirements and translates them into detailed design specifications and code. She is also responsible for creating modern and responsive layouts from designs and messaging provided by the UX design team. Her internship at WIMTACH has afforded her the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Restful service in Node.js, Kotlin for Android, and the Agile Methodology and Scrum Framework. She has also been able to improve upon her understanding of front-end development, designing, and documentation of technical requirements. In her free time, she enjoys drawing.
