Pooyan Nayyeri is Research and Development Lead Mechanical Design Specialist at WIMTACH and formerly previously, Aerospace Manufacturing Professor in the School of Engineering Technology and Applied Science at Centennial College. A Robotic and automation engineering specialist, he holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University. His research centered on state-of-the-art robotic additive manufacturing. He has extensive experience in mechatronics, control systems, haptics, and 3D printing through various academic and industrial projects. As Research Associate at WIMTACH, Pooyan works with the WIMTACH team to design automation and control systems for projects as well as system design. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar and tennis.
