Alek is enrolled in the Arts Education and Community Engagement program at Centennial College. As a Student Researcher at WIMTACH, their responsibilities include producing illustration videos for educational purposes, and contributing to engagement activities and outreach efforts. Through their experience at WIMTACH and Centennial College, they have acquired a proficiency in arts and community programming, as well as facilitation skills. They are also acquiring the skills to effectively manage projects and prioritize tasks. In their free time, they like to draw, paint, and develop art programming.
