Matthew is a Project Management intern at WIMTACH and he is enrolled in the Project Management Graduate program at Centennial College. At WIMTACH, he is responsible for facilitating scrum in projects, managing and monitoring his team, workflow, communication in projects, scheduling internal and external meetings, and assisting in other project management related tasks such as (schedule creation & taking meeting minutes). His internship at WIMTACH has improved his meeting scheduling skills, his ability to use agile methodologies, which includes facilitating scrum ceremonies, monitoring and controlling workflow, and using tools such as Jira. He has also improved his ability to develop a project plan, which includes the creation of WBS and comprehensive schedules using Microsoft Project and other tools. He has also been able to become a better communicator, learned how to be a facilitator of project teams, to engage with clients, and to problem solve in real life project scenarios. In his free time he likes to play video games, watch sports and play baseball and basketball.
