Pak is a Student Researcher at WIMTACH and he is enrolled in the Advanced Diploma in Software Engineering Technology program at Centennial College. At WIMTACH, he assists the WIMTACH research team with web development in applied research project collaborations. Through Centennial College and his internship at WIMTACH, Sergio has been able to learn about software programming tools like JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Python, and SQL, as well as frameworks like React, Angular.js, and Node.js. He has also become familiar with Git, GitHub, Visual Studio Code, Postman, Jira, and Figma. Additionally, he has learned about how to take on a leadership role in helping new developers to learn concepts like UI design and best development practices. In his free time, he enjoys baseball, softball, scuba diving, and archery.
