Prasan is enrolled in the Electronics Engineering Technology program at Centennial College. As an Electronic Design Student Researcher intern at WIMTACH, he is responsible for conducting literature reviews, selecting appropriate components and technologies for Hardware and Software implementation, conducting experiments and tests to validate designed electronic systems, maintaining detailed and organized documentation of the design process, and preparing reports and presentations to communicate research findings to the WIMTACH research team. His internship has enabled him to develop technical skills like soldering, tracing, proficiency with Oscilloscopes and Signals and Spectrum analyzing skills along with a familiarity with different instrumentation. He has also been able to gain engineering writing skills, project coordination skills, leadership skills, technical documentation skills, problem solving skills, troubleshooting and fast editing skills. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports like Cricket, swimming, skating and listening to music.
