Dr. Siyam is a professor at SETAS, Centennial College and a Research Lead at WIMTACH. He holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the University of Melbourne, Australia, and a Master’s in Environmental Science from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. He has over 15 years of experience in research and development with biotech industries & universities and holds patents for antimicrobial formulations and DNA vaccines. Siyam is currently leading antifogging research for McCray Optical Supply Inc and aiming to develop a novel nano-formulation that works effectively on a variety of glasses. He is also involved in the development of a smart compost bin in collaboration with Virgo Plant Factory. In his free time, Dr. Siyam enjoys nature watching, wildlife photography and playing cricket.
